Dance Your Way Into A Stunning Physique
If there is one thing I have noticed after years of strength training, aerobics, endurance training, building muscle, and cutting weight etc, if you dance you can combine all exercises and achieve a stunning physique. Bottom line. Dancing is an art. Itâs a work of natural art that restores curves, lines, statuette, and figure. The Dancing is one of the ultimate exercises, not to mention I think it totally promotes good vibes. If you want to strengthen your muscles, improve balance, restore curves, and basically do it in an unconventional yet fresh way, try dancing. No rhythm you say? So what? Acknowledging the value of practice as one of lifeâs convenient attributes, than you realize dancing is just like hitting the decline bench for the first time, it feels really awkward at first, but after a while you get used to it and start feeling extremely confident.
When you dance, you exercise your entire body. Sure, you can work out with various other types of aerobics, or strength train with weights in the gym but if you donât want to jump around from machine just to reach the same results that dancing can give you in a few moves. Various types of dances exist, honestly there are way too many to list. But the fact is when you dance you move all parts of the body and can balance better than you would working out on machines.
As a matter of fact I personally know of athletes who have taken up ball room dancing among other types to improve their on-field footwork. Not to mention I started to really learn the value of dancing from fighting, and realized that they really do share a lot of similar moves and footwork. Now, this is going to be the article of the lifetime, since itâs David McCready talking to you about dancing, wtf? I know right.. In order for me to show you some moves, I will need to do the moves myself, while focusing to help you see how the moves can benefit you, and how they tie into sports including boxing and football. Luckily for me I still havenât grabbed that new video camera but when I do , I guarantee I am going to put an embarrassing video up of me giving some solid footwork examples exhibiting awesome core strength and balance. But until then grab a cup of juice and give me a minute, since I am about to work your entire body. If you follow the moves and continue, I promise you will achieve a stunning physique.
Now, position yourself in the center of a room. Make sure you have some space to work with.
Now balance your body in the center of the floor. Something that really helped me identify my balance was this titanium infused bracelet that I wear everyday⦠Anyways, Dance! Step right, step center, step left, and rotate. You are doing the side steps now by the way. This merely a start, but nothing compared to what you will do later. Again, step right, step center, step left, rotate. When I do this I have learned to incorporate punches and ducks and essentially create a shadowboxing/dance routine. Now turn on your stereo. I want you to hear your favorite songs blasting while youâre doing this. You might want to slap some; Atmosphere, Immortal Technique, Tupac, or whatever you like. The point is you want to feel the beat when youâre moving. Get into the music!
Next, center(flex your abs) while moving the feet left to right, at the same time sink in the knees(duck). As you move, notice the stress around the higher thigh area, around the hips, in the midsection, and about the sides. Feel the stress while relaxing and letting it go. If you feel pain, stop the procedure now. You should not feel pain anywhere on the body. Rather, you should only feel a good stress. Stress is your buddy, thus if you feel pain you may have a medical problem, otherwise you havenât learned to fully understand what pain actually is. There is a difference between damaging your body and experiencing light nerve discomfort⦠I got in to this whole long conversation with some doctor while he was stiching my hand up not to long ago.. I wont get into it right now..
None the less if you donât feel any pain, continue. Let your body explore its potentials. Learn your body, and let it flow. Want to know what youâre doing? You are sculpting the body to bring forth a stunning physique! How awesome is that? I wanted to get creative with this idea and hope some of you find this interesting and give it shot when nobody is around maybe 😉
