I just want to remind everybody that I’m not a bodybuilder. I don’t juice (obviously) and I have know desire to do so. I am however very healthy, pound for pound I’m stronger than many of my peers with a training & work ethic that has yet to be matched in my eyes. Oh yea, I’m a coach & personal trainer(I suppose that’s worth noting).
Now, after reading an article called You Must Have The Wrong Guy by Jason Ferruggia there’s something else that I need to touch on.
Jason pointed out that although he’s part of the fitness industry, you won’t find him cheerleading for anybody. I don’t aimlessly promote fitness. Here’s the thing, I’ve had enough experiences to know that if you don’t appreciate a healthy diet & active lifestyle then there is nothing I can do for you.
He also said, “If you want to sit around and eat donuts all day why would that possibly bother me? And why would I want to motivate you? I’m not Jenny Craig or Matt Foley I don’t give a shit.” Right?
I’m not going to be a cheerleader for you or anybody else for that matter. If you’re 50+ pounds overweight and ask me what you should do to lose 50 pounds. I’ll tell you straight up; self discipline.
You should already know the importance of a healthy eating & consistent training.
We live in the age of information, therefore ignorance is most certainly a choice. Not to mention, I really don’t hold anything back on GSI and share even the information that is going to piss certain folks off.
“To know thyself is to know that you’re the savior you seek”
I put this weekly training log up for several reasons. The first being, I want to hold myself accountable with my own training. Now, I could easily say I’m doing all the things in my training logs and really be at McDonalds stuffing my face, but you’d likely know something was up if I was a fat greasy piece of shit in my videos or at events.
The second reason for these training logs is to show you that it’s possible and reletively easy to get out and get something done. I am constantly doing something. I barely see my friends and am ALWAYS on my grind, yet I make time to train and do something physical every single day of the week. While I won’t be your personal cheerleader, it truly is my hope that you find inspiration and are able to channel some motivation from these logs in order to better & advance your own self.
And with that –

If you’re not self motivated & disciplined, nobody can help you. Yes, I say inspiring things to help plant seeds in the lives of others, and I’ll likely compare you to a young school girl if you’re considering giving up on your last rep & set (if you happen to be training with me) but it’s not a desire of mine to be anybody’s personal support group. Like Mr. Ferruggia, I don’t give a shit. You need to take control of your life and start making moves if you ever want to change your circumstances.
