If you’re looking for fast fat loss, then you want to keep your expectations realistic. While you can drop several pounds each week through a healthy diet and exercise routine, you aren’t going to drop 50 pounds overnight. What you’ll find on the road to slimming down is the knowledge of how to eat healthier and to avoid packing on the pounds in the future.
One option you have that will help to promote fast fat loss will be weight training. As you build and strengthen your muscles through the weight lifting process, you are going to actually burn off more calories over the course of the day. Not to mention the huge spike in metabolism that occurs after our workouts.
15 Hours A Month
In an effort to achieve fast fat loss from these workouts, you do need to ensure that you’re doing a minimum of 15 hours of working out each month. That’s averages out to roughly 30 minutes a day. If you stick with this, you’ll start to melt off fat and will be looking and feeling better than you have in a long time.
Drink More Water!
Exercising isn’t the only thing you can do to maximize your fat loss. You might not realize this, but water is going to have an impact on your overall health. Many people find that they aren’t drinking enough water over the day and this causes dehydration to a degree. Since your body is 70% water, you need to ensure that you are drinking enough to keep your muscles hydrated and keep your metabolism at peak levels.
Note: We lose around a liter and a half of water each day from our urine & sweat alone. Stay hydrated. Also, when you keep your muscle hydrated you are keeping your protein synthesis going strong. Remember, the more muscle you have the more calories you are going to burn even at rest.
Nomz (What does your diet look like?)
There is another area of your life you need to look at, if you want to have fast fat loss. This will be the foods that you’re eating. On average, you should be having six smaller meals over the course of the day. Or 3 squares with 3 snacks thrown in the mix. These meals should be low in fats and empty calories, while being full of protein & complex carbs which can help you to build muscle and burn fat.
Note: Breakfast should be the largest meal of your day.
Over the course of a few months, you will start to see the pounds melting off as the muscle builds in your body. The more muscle you have, the healthier you are going to be and the better you are going to feel in the long run. Remember, there is no fast fat loss program out there that will take the pounds off all at once. While you may see quick results when you’re first losing weight, you should anticipate about 1 – 3 pounds of weight loss each week.
