I feel like I needed to get this off of my chest and now let me jump into today’s yolked up article on gaining muscle with a fast metabolism…
Read on to find out exactly what lifts you should be incorporating if you have a fast metabolism and plan to gain muscle!
Imagine wasting all your time on the wrong weight training exercises and that every weight training exercise you are doing is dead wrong. Those of us with a naturally fast metabolism aka skinny guys need to meet a different set of requirements when choosing the most effective weight training exercisesÂ for maximal muscle growth.
Without further ado, here are the top two exercises for each muscle group I used to gain 16 pounds of muscle mass in under three months:Â
Chest: Bench Press and Incline Dumbbell Flys
Back: Bent Over Barbell Rows and Close Grip Chin Ups
Shoulders: Seated DB Shoulder Press and Standing Military Press
Triceps: Dips and Tricep Pressdowns
Biceps: Standing Barbell Curls and Incline Bicep Curls/Hammers (supersetted)
Quads: Squats and Lunges
Hips: Deadlifts and Stiff Leg Deadlifts
Lower Back: Good Morning and Hanging Knee Raises
Calves: Standing Calve Raises and Leg Press Calf Raise
Abdominals: Weighted Ball Situps and Weighted Cable Crunches
Don’t get me wrong, there are plenty of good exercises that I didn’t list but these are some of the best and have worked wonders for myself and my trainees! Be sure to utilize these weight training exercises for the best possible muscle and strength gains for a fast metabolism – you will have a muscular body in less time than you thought!
Since your body is burning so much fuel, be sure to adjust (increase) your intake of complex carbs and protein!
