What’s going on, I appreciate you for stopping by. Today I wanted to write a quick article about my top 10 lean proteins. I know a lot of people who are very picky about what they eat when it comes to building lean muscle. Many  times the foods that are readily availabe to us or are heavily promoted are definitely NOT on our top list of things to eat when it comes to lean muscle.  There are consequences for people who train and don’t eat foods with lean proteins. Some of these consequences are fatigue and muscular atrophy.
It’s incredibly important to incorporate lean protein into your diet. I remember when I was 14 and starting to get into lifting weights, I knew I needed protein but that was the extent my knowledge on the subject. I didn’t understand the diferences in proteins and didn’t know how much I needed. Luckily, I addressed this lack of knowledge. Since those days it’s safe to say I’ve been around the block a time or two when it comes to nutrition.
Without further ado here is a list of my top 10 lean protein foods:
1. Egg whites (whole eggs in limited quantities)
2. Chicken Breast
3. Whey or Casein protein (protein powder supplements)
4. Salmon (wild Alaskan)
5. Turkey Breast
6. Top round steak (grass fed)
7. Black Beans
8. Lean Ground Turkey
That’s it for this one. These are the sources I stick to for protein copnsumption. Keep this list in mind the next time you are shopping for lean protein foods at the grocery store.Â
