It has been about 11 years since I really started paying attention to not only my own health and personal strength but the health and strength of our collective community.
When I refer to strength I am often referring to physical, mental and spiritual strength. In order to be the strongest version of ourselves (which is what life is all about) we must grow and mature physically, mentally and spiritually.
It’s my belief that strength training, powerlifting, bodybuilding, powerbuilding, and really just fitness in general is a great medium to help us identify our weaknesses (future strengths) and to help hone in and develop our character.
Remember, to whom much is given much will be tested.
Your character is not so much how you react to situations and ideas in public but more of how you react/handle them when nobody is looking.
When we hit roadblocks with our training such as plateaus, injuries, work, “baby mama drama” et cetera, we have 1 of 2 options. We can identify the issues in order to begin adapting and overcoming or we can turn away from adversity and feel sorry for ourselves.
I for one pray for challenges and look forward to developing my character each and everyday by way of overcoming these perceived challenges.
If we are not being challenged we are not growing stronger.
When I see truly strong and healthy people who seem to just thrive no matter the given situation or circumstance, they tend to incorporate 10 unique habits into their given lifestyles no matter how “different” each individual and situation is from one another.
Anyway I put together this fancy report (originally titled top 10 insider habits of the strong & healthy) for you guys for and I hope it helps you as much as it does me. I’ve broke down each habit and included suggestions as to how you can adopt each for your own lifestyles.Â
Drop me a line below if you found it beneficial.
